Celebrate National Something on a Stick Day at Denio’s!
DACHSHUND RACES – Enter your Dachshund into the race for a chance to win the $100 Grand Prize and a trophy! RACE PRIZES, 1st Place $100 Cash & trophy, 2nd Place $50 cash & trophy, 3rd Place winner will receive a trophy.
WANNA-BE-A-WIENER COSTUME PARADE – Don’t have a Dachshund? Bring your pup out for the Wanna-Be-A-Wiener Dog Costume Parade, best costume award will be given out to the best dressed pooch! Parade “Best Costume” Award, Gift Basket of Doggie Treats.
CORN DOG EATING COMPETITION – Love Denio’s corn dogs? Enter our Corn Dog Eating Competition. Eat as many corn dogs as you can in 4 minutes flat. Grand prize is $100 Cash, the coveted corn dog trophy and bragging rights, 2nd Place $50 Cash, 3rd Place winner will receive a trophy.
THE COMPETITION IS GOING TO BE DOG-GONE CRAZY!
There is a $10 entry fee for the Dachshund Races and a $10 entry fee for the Corn Dog Eating Contest, collected at check-in. 100% of all Dachshund race proceeds will benefit the Placer County SPCA, Placer County SPCA will be on-site with adoptable dogs. Festivities to take place at Denio’s Market Plaza Live!
