On Wednesday August 27th over 600 people packed Market Plaza Live at Denio’s Farmers Market & Swap Meet for the Annual Roseville State of the City Address, 2025. In partnership with the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Roseville, Denio’s Farmers Market & Swap Meet was thrilled to host the State of the City for the first time in our 78-year history.
This year, Roseville native and Mayor Krista Bernasconi celebrated the past year’s accomplishments, addressed areas for City improvement, and shined a light on what’s ahead for Roseville. Mayor Bernasconi also recognized several long-standing businesses and organizations in Roseville that have continued to thrive for several decades that include: Union Pacific Railroad (est. 1864), The West House Tavern & Nightclub (est. 1907) , The Roseville Press Tribune (est. 1908), Roseville Moose Lodge 1293 (est. 1925), The Roseville Rotary Club (est. 1938), Roseville Meat Company (est. 1946), Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce (est. 1947), Nubbins Drive-In (est. 1955), Cochrane & Wagemann, Funeral Directors (est. 1956), Buds Dry Cleaning (est. 1957), Better Foods Deli (est. 1970), Round House Deli (est. 1971), Roller King (est. 1977) and JMC Homes (est. 1978).
